First of all, I’d like to present you Karrot, an open-source tool for grassroots initiatives and groups of people that want to coordinate face-to-face activities on a local, autonomous and voluntary basis. Not only I’ve been contributing to this project for a while now, but also my local food saving group and other groups in Sweden and abroad use it to coordinate their activities.
I guessed it would be relevant to present the project here and also to invite those of you who might get a bit more curious to join
Karrot days on the 16th and 17th of July. Please do check the schedule on the link to see if there is any session of interest to you. Some might be more focused on current groups using it and the collective design of new features, some might be more general, exploring the software as a general tool for community organising or about group governance.
The event is free and open. Welcome!
